She’s Chrisha, my 13-year-old Korean student. She had a hard time in our vocabulary class that one day, i was trying to motivate her but she said studying it is useless. I said okay, if she doesn’t wan’t to learn, it’s fine with me. What I did was, I gave her lots of homework and I asked her to use those words in a sentence. Later, when we had our pronunciation class and was about to scan her notebook, I found her letter. I was touched. That was the time I felt I am indeed a teacher. ♥
We had really, really fun times together. We played rock scissor paper whoever loses will have a paint on wherever the winner wants to put drawings on. She lose I drew a long-stemmed sunflower in a pot in her arms, I lose she drew a long-stemmed tulip with two leaves (which is wrong) in a pot in my arms too.
I had a ugly scar on my right hand that looked like Visayas, do you know what she did? She drew a Hello Kitty on it as exactly as the scar. Awww. What a creative mind. Every time I go home, I had a tat like that. And I so miss havin’ it.
Ohmaygas, I’m tearing up right now….
I’ll post her video message for you to see how pretty and sweet she is. ♥
